The MTF hype got to him, you are all responsible for this.

I am the Nelson Mandela of MTF

Berlocq showed up for the R1 check. I'm sure he knew he wasn't able to perform at this event. But I have no problem with it. It's a win for Poto, and Poto needs the wins.

What was the reason Berlocq retired? Same as in Houston, leg injury?

I think Starace got a WC because of Monte Carlo's close proximity to Italy...Bolelli got a WC one year I seem to remember.

Berlocq shouldn't have been here...should have taken time off...deserves to be out for some time.

fully expected.

can't blame him really. players will show up for r1 paychecks as long as the ATP allows it. (and it's tough to see what they can really do about it)

It's easy. Stop players playing the week after they retire in a match.

Yeah, that was true looking at the Fognini v Llodra match. So yeah, the WC does make sense to me now.

Nothing wrong with saving up a few decibels in grunting for what will be a straining clay season for the Panther, sweeping off tournaments left and right, ranging from Masters to meek Challengers around the world while others bother playing Olympics and grand slams on cow turf.
