CH Pereira SF: Ramirez-Hidalgo def. Giraldo 2-6 7-6(4) 6-4

Giraldo was 6-2 *4-3 up. He double faulted to lose his serve and from there, the match changed. Ruben started winning service games more comfortably, and Santi was making many errors. Santi's serve started to go bad, and Ruben took advantage by winning the rallies. Ruben got out to a *5-2 lead in the third set, which then eventually became *5-4 30-40. Ruben saved the BP on a forehand winner after a long rally.

Ruben is now on a 9 match winning streak, and is provisionally #101 in the world. Beating Giraldo in his home event; one of his best wins in an extremely long time!!! He's back, bitches

Ramirez-Hidalgo has won 6 of his last 8 matches in three sets. This 34 year old must be fit as.
