Re: Prize money increases in French Open 2012

I guess there's no other comment because there's no "Nadal said this Federer said that" "Nadal only thinks of himself / Federer is a hypocrite and only thinks of his image" or the opposite "Nadal or Federer cares for the lower ranked players"

however, I guess people can understand that this was made to avoid a boycott and it was precisely the priority of most of the players during the much talked about players' meeting in Melbourne.

I had read that there were talkings with Wimbledon directors too.

As I write in a recent thread, being attacked for it by vast hordes of Fedtrolls, we soon will have news about this isue. Nadal was putting all his energies in this matter and the rest of players was supporting him, and they finally has gotten results. It was that or the strike. What a figther this Rafa, what a man! Vamos!

This is the first sentence of this article and you do not you bother to read it?

Est-ce la conséquence de la grogne des joueurs ?
The New York Times:

Quote:
Though players, including Alex Bogomolov Jr. of Russia, sent twitter messages mentioning an imminent strike (exclamation points included), there is no sign of an imminent work stoppage in Australia.

Nonetheless, the players sound intent on increasing the pressure, and the French Open, which begins in May, is the next Grand Slam event on the calendar.
“If I were the French Open, I’d be very concerned,” the tour official said.

The sentence is just a question. It doesn't actually state anything.

wimbledon offcialis are safe riders, they never take a chance with their reputation......they play the safe game, so expect them to announce it rightaway......the only potential rebels could have been french open(remember equal prize money for women?) and even they agreed......vamos rafa!
