WWW Miami R1: [Q] Garcia-Lopez vs [Q] Ram
GGL has won the only match between these two, taking a tiebreak in the third at Tokyo in 2010. These courts suit GGL much more than Tokyo and Raji Ram significantly less. GGL beat Murray in Indian Wells in making the third round but has a 3-6 record in Miami. Rampras didn't drop serve in either match to qualify, defeating Elgin and Bachinger easily.
Winner plays Troicki in R2 so this is a big opportunity for both. I think if GGL could beat Ram in Tokyo on a fast HC, he will defeat him here as well. He should be confident from his performance last week in California, and continue that form here in Miami. GGL in straight sets.
