Miami R1: Haas def. [Q] Rufin 6-4 6-4

Good to see Tommy win here after is withdrawal from the Dallas SF just four days ago. Rufin saved three BPs his first service game and then saved three more in a long deuce game at 2 all before being broken. Tommy saved two BPs himself at *1-2 and held serve from 0-30 at *4-3 in the first set and saved a 0-30 and 30-40 against his serve at *4-3 in the second set but overall, he served well. High serve percentage, more aces than he's been serving in many of his matches during this comeback, and only seven points lost on first serve, plus serving well on the big points, hitting a few aces and mostly first serves whenever things got tight in service games. Hopefully we can get a report on how well he moved and if he looked 100% without pain. A good win for him and best of all, he's healthy to play.

Stepanek next, he'll have a good chance in that match to continue to advance here.

Oh boy, we will have a match between 2 players born in the 70s! This is exciting..

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

He'll probably beat Rafa and Nole/Fed in the final. Damn, this Tommy is good.

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?

You're not even man enough to look at my face.

Appeal moderation isn't pretty, you have to watch your friends go to dust.
