Do you think its time for nadal to leave uncle toni?

Nadal hasn't won a title since the FO and well he look Tired and lack of energy, yes i know he is in good shape and can play 6 house like in AUS but he just doesn't look good and i don't think it only b/c of novak, yes he has part of it but not all of it.
Clay season is coming and even if he will win a few Clay Tournaments i still think its time to leave uncle Toni and find a new coach, maybe a new energy will help him?
even great champs need a change from time to time, look at Roger after years without a coach took Paul to help him.

i think ONLY IF HE WILL LOSE THE FO he will do it or Seriously think about it.

what do you think?

It's not Uncle Toni's fault. Rafa's been off playing golf but do not fret, the clay season is almost upon us.

Yes, I think so. A new coach would give him renewed motivation, a good kick up the arse. He seemed strangely content with choking the AO final and getting routed by Federer. Plus, how much time does he have left at the top? A bad clay season could be the end of him.

there is no question the time is running out. he has to make something happen in the next 3 years.

he needs a target of 4-5 slams in 3 years and then go about making it happen.

and to hell with the rankings now. he is not managing the rankings well at all anymore.

Re: Do you think its time for nadal to leave uncle toni?

Nadal needs to manage his schedule, I really dont know if his family decides where he should play but it is absurd he goes playing Tokyo after tiring Usopen finals, I remember he played Rotterdam for no reason in 2009 and that punished him greatly later on. Nadal should have played Acapulco and maybe some other clay tournament to get his confidence going and still beiing soft on his body, he should also only play 3 claycourt tournaments before RG this year, as someone said dont care about the rankings by now but he should focus on winning RG foremost. Let Djokovic and Federer battle it out in Madrid on the fast clay where he cant beat Djokovic and even Federer can challenge him.

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

True. Nadull keeps his 7 braincells in his rectum and even they need stimulating to work.

Re: Do you think its time for nadal to leave uncle toni?

he doesn't need uncle toni to figure out that his general strategy of play it to their backhand just does not work against superior players other than federer. ironically nadal is going the same way fed has been going for years now , they both refuse to change their game to counter their worst match up.

Re: Do you think its time for nadal to leave uncle toni?

If Nadal wants to win on the tennis court, he should keep Uncle Toni.
If Nadal wants to grow as a human being, he should sack Uncle Toni.

The choice is yours, Rafa.
