Question Could Rafa Nadal be the male Navratilova

Rafa could also be a legend on doubles besides being a legend on singles. Do you think he could win grand-slam doubles?

Rafa wouldn't play doubles...not after complaining about an overpacked schedule.

Re: Could Rafa Nadal be the male Navratilova

Why not? If he still wants to play tennis once he's done with singles then he should. But I think the days of Rafter/Edberg/McEnroe types are over.

Trolling is defined by Herring as baiting and luring others into pointless and time-consuming discussions.

4 criteria of trolls:

1. Appearance of outward sincerity.
2. Posts designed to incite anger or "flames"
3. Posts designed to waste everybody's time with useless argument
4. Desperate desire for attention, any attention at all

Recognize them, don't engage and put 'em on your ignore list where they belong. Feed a troll and you're just encouraging their attention-seeking.

Re: Could Rafa Nadal be the male Navratilova

When I saw the thread title I thought it may be about the possibility of Nadal playing until he was 40 years old

it's because today's tennis more harming and schedule is more harder on players. they are already dealing with too much physical pressure with only singles matches. but especially nadal and federer would be great doubles players. murray not bad. djokovic

Re: Could Rafa Nadal be the male Navratilova

Federer is a good doubles player in early career, but he seldom plays doubles in GS.

I don't think Nadal will play it in GS.

I think he should try it. Why not? He already has a career grand slam and an Olympic gold; it's not like his career is incomplete. He's good enough to win, especially at RG. I say go for it.
