Re: Fed, Nadal, Djoko : Monte-Carlo, Madrid, Barca, Rome. Who is playing what??

Surely Roger won´t be playing Monte Carlo, why ? Because after Australian Open he has had deep runs in Rotterdam, Dubai, now Indian Wells (with that sickness) and still Miami is behind doors. Playing Monte Carlo is only a wishful thinking of some fans, who doesn´t bother by players fatigue, or regeneration, just points, points, points.

Novak will be playing Monte Carlo, as his residence is over there and he will be playing another Masters 1000 (he has one zero-pointer, cause he didn´t play Shanghai and Monte Carlo last year). That is the reason, why he don´t have to play Belgrade, as it is only 250 tournie.

Think about it.

Roger Federer - Martin Klizan - Lukas Lacko - Milos Raonic - Fernando Verdasco

Dustin Brown - Nick Kyrgios - Norbert Gombos - Stanislas Wawrinka - Dominic Thiem

He said he's unsure about playing Belgrade this year.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Agreed. Fed's skipping MC and Novak's playing it. Still think Rafa will take it. MC is best clay for him and so far Nole 2011 has not returned. Though he lost in straights on clay to Novak I think mentally he should be better this time if he meets Novak.

True.

I think it also depends on how far Fed goes in Miami. If he bombs out early, for sure he'll play Monte Carlo. But if he makes SF/F once more, he may skip it.

Nole would be smart to play just MC, Madrid, and Rome ahead of RG. But as Rafa with the Madrid/Barcelona thing, there may be some political pressure to play the event.

Agree on the most - but notice the slight correction.
For some reason Fed doesn't seem to like MC all too much, but yes he might add it to his schedule if he's in need of some points at that time.

Nole stood me up in Madrid in 2010, better not do it again.

i think if there is a chance fed can get no.2 then he will play extra tournies

nole and rafa on the same side of the draw would boost feds chances of a RG final

Yes, I know the 6-week term, but why Monte Carlo still hasn´t got an entry list ? It starts in 4 weeks.

Roger Federer - Martin Klizan - Lukas Lacko - Milos Raonic - Fernando Verdasco

Dustin Brown - Nick Kyrgios - Norbert Gombos - Stanislas Wawrinka - Dominic Thiem

No way Nadal is going to skip Madrid whatever the circumstances, he's feeling Roger breath on his back and can't afford pulling out from a M1000 tournament.
Especially that Madrid is super-fast and Roger will arrive as the heavy favourite to win the whole thing after having suitable rest post-Miami.
