Hoping for Fed in 2, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Isner win.

Would be hilarious if Fed ends up with the masters1000 record like he owns the slam record now.

He MAY get the record temporarily (even that is unlikely) but I am sure in the end Rafa will take this record. Deservedly too.
Roger will AT BEST win a couple of masters a year this and the next but not beyond that for sure. Rafa will have Monte Carlo alone locked for another 12345 years...

Fed will be in trouble here . I didn't see a chance Isner beating Nole . Nole is much worse match up for Isner than Fed is . Also Nole returned better in that match than Fed would ever be returning and still lost the match . Expect at least one breaker here and Isner in breaker is one of the toughest customers

No doubt Mr. Samanosuke, and as shown yesterday, "balls of steel" under pressure.

Respectfully,

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

Yeah it sure wont be easy at all. For both guys
But ths time as opposed to DC, Fed wont underestimate John. Isner is an American I actually like, so I wouldnt mind this going three, as long as Fed wins.
Forecast is showers again in the afternoon

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

As much as I'd like to see Federer win, I doubt if he can manage it. I'd be very sad to see him upset both my favourite players. But it would make things interesting at Miami.

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

I think Roger has a greater chance of breaking Isner than the other way around, in a tiebreak it's pretty much 50/50. So overall Federer has the slight edge and should win in a tight match.

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

Expect at least 2 TBs here. I expect this match to have very small margins, which means either guy could win. Hoping for Isner, he needs this more than Fed.

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

A final without Nadal or Djokovic. Brilliant! Either one of those players would've made the final terrible.

I'm fine with John winning, but I want the GOAT to increase his GOAT credentials with another masters title. Come on, Roger! Win this and you're #1 in the race

ANDY MURRAY

SLAMS: 2 WINS, 7 finals, 9 semi-finals, 7 quarter-finals...
MASTERS: 11 WINS, 5 finals, 11 semi-finals, 18 quarter-finals...
WTF: 3 semi-finals...
OTHER: Olympic gold and silver medals, Davis Cup champion...
MATCH WIN/LOSS: 558-166...
TITLES: 35 and counting...

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

John won't beat Federer two times in row. Especially in a Master final but the match won't be too easy for Federer. I expect two close sets.

Never ever give up
