Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

Federer is on a roll. I don't think he'll make the same mistake like in DC. He returns big servers too well and his confidence after beating Nadal on such conditions must be sky high. Federer has won every single tournament where he has defeated Nadal en route. Of course most of those were in finals, but he has a couple non-final wins over Nadal only ending up to take the title.

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

If the conditions are very windy, then I think Federer is the clear favorite. I think Federer underestimated Isner in their last match, and who won't do that same here. He even said in his interview that Isner is the man to beat now.

Isner's serve will decide the match, so the conditions are very important.

Good luck to both players, but I want Federer to win.

If John serves like today, putting 74% first serve in, he has a chance tomorrow. And I like him to win the doubles too

Federer takes this I think. Isner might take a set though.

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

Djokovic is a terrible tb player while Fed is an excellent one. Today it was basically guaranteed if it went to a tb Isner would win while tomorrow it's far from certain. Isner is going to have to serve like a beast and hope Sickerer shows up, I'm giving him a 30% chance.

Re: WWW IW F: Federer v. Isner

It would be a shame if Fed somehow manages to throw away this excellent chance of adding to his master shields-tally.
Good thing that he's had a severe warning a couple of weeks ago not to underestimate Isner. May serve him well tomorrow.

Fed in two or three.
But I won't mind it too much if Isner takes his first master shield. He would have earned it just the same.
