CH Dallas QF: Andreev def. Lacko 6-3 3-6 6-2
Very good win in the end for Igor, one of his best on hardcourt in a while. Igor hit the forehand well in the match, both DTL and off-forehands. For both players, the match came down to who was the most effective with their serve+forehand combination, and who was returning the better of the two, and in the first and third sets, that was Andreev. Igor broke with BH DTL's in both the first (broke with a BH DTL return winner in the first set) and third sets and broke to win the match by hitting a good FH return and finishing the point off with his heavy forehand.
Igor's hitting his forehand aggressively, serving well and moving well, if he does these things well, he's going to be dangerous going forward, especially on clay. Great tournament for him; he'll be right around the top 100 again on Monday.
