So, I am bored of constantly reading of the top four, and basically the reality that most people here are gloryhunters being reinforced in my head. I want to see if there are some real tennis fans here and not player fans. And in my eyes, fans of tennis like a player not just because of who that player is or their success but because of their play on the court, their attitude off the court, reasons that aren't strictly based on "whose the GOAT", "whose gonna win this/that major tournament" (threads made 3 months before the tournament actually begins) or whatever questions asked over and over in general messages.
So, based on the provisional current rankings seen below, which player NOT
named David Nalbandian, Lleyton Hewitt, Tommy Haas and Fernando Gonzalez (all four are where they are ranked due to injuries and are big named, very popular players who have spent years at the top echelon of the game, and Gonzo is retiring in a week anyway) is your favorite NON-TOP 50 player? Basically, which player(s) do you prefer because you are simply fond of their tennis, regardless of their results? Which players will you ride and die with through all their ups and downs? And if you would, please give your reasons why. Answer up and don't disappoint me with stupid responses.
