Re: IW QF WWW: another Federer-Delpo installment?

Battle of the losers unfortunately. Neither will beat nadal in their current forms

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

Re: IW QF WWW: another Federer-Delpo installment?

Del Po fans are something else. It's been nothing but Fed in straights all year, even when Pony had 4 consecutive set points. I see no reason why it would be different now unless Del Po found some variety or Fed really is ill. The whole form thing obviously doesn't matter here, as he was in excellent form crushing Berdych and then was easily dismissed by fed, same thing on the slow australian hardcourts.

that's not the thread subject. could you pls stop mentioning nadal when he is not the topic at hand?

Q. Do you think you would have been able to play as well as you played today, or you think you would have pulled out from the game if it wasn't the Masters Cup final?

ROGER FEDERER: No, Roger Federer doesn't pull out. Otherwise he doesn't walk on court (smiling).

deal with it punk, the winner of this match faces Nadal and whether or not you care to recognize it, changes nothing. in a thread about a match it is certainly appropriate to speculate which player who wins has a better chance to get further in the draw.

I see Fed winning this but Delpo has looked pretty good this week so maybe he will reverse trends.

You can call a punk whoever you want in your own house, you flatulent ass. Since when do you think you can insult me in here? That was your first and last mistake towards me, so be careful with your words!

This one makes sense. Who'd want to face Nadal yet again, after a string of shameful losses. Delpo at least has a chance against Rafael.

Whose shameful losses? Last 2 events played against each other:

Mr. Federer lost to Mr. Nadal at the Australian Open in a fairly hard fought match 7-6, 2-6, 6-7, 4-6 .

Mr. Nadal lost to Mr. Federer in London in 2 sets that included a bagel - 3-6, 0-6

Respectfully,

Well said. From the few post's I've seen of you, you seem like a sensible guy. Few and far between here.

I think Del Potro could take this. The pendulum has to swing the other way sooner or later when your as talented as he is, especially if Fed really is unwell.

I love attacking tennis

FEDERER - DEL POTRO - DIMITROV
Tsonga Haas Nishikori Wawrinka
Cilic Djokovic Gulbis Kyrgios

Hewitt Soderling Roddick

Re: IW QF WWW: another Federer-Delpo installment?

Fed speculated in his PC that he could be back to 100% by tomorrow as he'll have had a day off, I doubt it but I see him taking at least a set, the rest will be up to Juan

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo
