Indian Wells R2: [19] Verdasco def. Sweeting 6-2 6-2

Good service numbers for Nando's standards. Was leading throughout the match. Broke for a *3-1 lead in the first set and immediately saved two break points to consolidate. He then broke again to win the first set, and broke to 15 to take control of the second set, for a *3-1 lead. Nando staved off a potential choke by saving BP after double-faulting up *4-2. Sweeting saved a handful of match points before finally succumbing.

Comfortable win in the end, which you don't say often with Nando.

I think Fernando will beat Del Potro in next round, really.

Roger Federer - Martin Klizan - Lukas Lacko - Milos Raonic - Fernando Verdasco

Dustin Brown - Nick Kyrgios - Norbert Gombos - Stanislas Wawrinka - Dominic Thiem
