Re: 2012 Indian Wells R16 (and on) predictions

Agree with most of your predictions except the semis and the finals. IMO, Murray makes the semis abd beats Djokovic again if Nole reaches as far (he has a tougher quarter) and Andy has a joke draw. Isner will not beat him.
BO3 is where Murray can take it to Djokovic better than anyone can and they both know it.
Nadal will beat Federer everywhere so yeah he gets to the final.

I am calling a Nadal-Murray final with Nadal taking the title.
If it is Djokovic-Nadal, Djoker makes it 8 in a row

Re: 2012 Indian Wells R16 (and on) predictions

R16:
Djokovic def. Gasquet
Berdych def. Almagro
Wawrinka def. Murray
Isner def. Benneteau

Del Potro def. Ferrer
Federer def. Monfils
Tipsarevic def. Tsonga
Nadal def. Dolgopolov

QF:
Djokovic def. Berdych
Isner def. Wawrinka (can see this match going either way)

Federer def. Del Potro
Nadal def. Tipsarevic

SF:
Djokvoic def. Isner (or Wawrinka)
Nadal def. Federer

F
Djokovic def. Nadal

Going with Djokovic every time these two play from now on until Nadal beats him again. But if Rafa were to ever do it, this should be the event.

Re: 2012 Indian Wells R16 (and on) predictions

I see no evidence Isner is in the form to beat Murray(having never beat him before either), and Wawrinka's been focusing on clay recently. I don't see Fed beating Nadal or Nadal beating Djokovic. Murray vs any of the big 3 could go either way.

If Federer and Nadal play each other here, will be fun as it will be their first meeting at Indian Wells.

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

Last tournament Murray had a tougher draw... Unless you want to argue Nole has a harder time with Tipsy than Murray does with Berdych

I'm sorry, but no.

It'll be same old, same old. Nadal hitting CC FHs as many as humanly possible, and Fed showing the crowd how much variety he has hitting the shank BH.
