It's not Isner...Roddick said that this guy is just few places away from him in the rankings(Isner is 11,Roddick 31),so I assume he meant Bogomolov, former American player who is now 6 places behind Roddick...

I can only assume it's because nobody wants to get rid of B-Nard.

Getting rid of two for the price of one, hm...

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Now that Hass is a grandpa theres little chance of Roddick being schooled by him again. Hence his usefulness on the tour has come to an end.

Maybe I read too much MTF, but this was my reaction.

Isn't that kind of ironic considering you are Murray's #1 fan?

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

Re: Roddick: "People want to get rid of me"

when you're a predictable asshole on the court towards opponents who are lower ranked and towards umpires and line judges and when you have NO variety;no backhand;no transition game;when you can't play on ALL surfaces and don't show up at important tournaments;yes I am with everyone who wants your ass GONE but I have to say that I do enjoy the whoop asses you are getting nowadays. If you promise to keep losing I'll tolerate you

Trump Jr. says Obama plagiarized his quote, but not before he borrowed it from Obama and both president Bushes

I like Andy (especially when he draws Rogi). I don't want to get rid of him.

Re: Roddick: "People want to get rid of me"

US media so.......... overhyped him and Federer happens.
He achieved a lot compared to many others (Ferrero, DelPO, Puerta, Goran, even more than Rafter etc.), but expectations were too high.

I like him and will miss him a lot.

Re: Roddick: "People want to get rid of me"

No one gives 2 shits about what Rodmug thinks. Another irrelevant yank drama queen trying to stir up shit because he never had talent to let his racquet do the talking. Being Olderer's bitch, especially that Wimbledon 2009 final, will remain highlight of his mediocre career.
