Pics advanced to the final with amazing ease, so even if Almagro produces his best tennis his chances are slim.

Re: Buenos Aires F: Ferrer - Almagro

Almagro (though evidently amazing today) has looked shaky by his high Golden Swing standards, and it's a bad match up anyways...

I'm going to love this match. Ferrer will win, but I really don't mind. I was hoping Nicolas could get a 3 title streak this year, but with Ferrer in the way, he almost no chance. Hopefully, it's a good match. These guys put most clay courters to shame with their tennis.

Last year at Acapulco Nico was competitive through first 2 sets, this year he's less tired so he'll take it

Re: Buenos Aires F: Ferrer - Almagro

I can't think of a more boring, predictable final. Almagro has as much chance of beating Ferrer on clay as Ferrer does of beating Nadal on clay. It's like a Spanish pecking order.

^ Sums it up. Three biggest clay-court lovers, one a class above the other. Pics is going to build a confidence beating Peackock in BA and Acapulco only to get spanked from Nadal in Barcelona and Monte Carlo

Re: Buenos Aires F: Ferrer - Almagro

Almagro, despite all those losses against David had chances to win in a few of them, sth like serving for the match in Cinci, having match points on serve in Valencia final if my memory doesn´t fail me, etc. Of course he stands a chance tonight, and although Ferrer is the favourite, Mucho is due for a win against him sooner or later, could easily be tonight
