Memphis R1: Malisse defeats Roddick 7-6 (8) , 7-5

Roddick's decline continues. This should be Malisse's first win of the season.

Re: Memphis R1: Malisse defeats Roddick 7-6 (8) , 7-5

Served for the 1st set at *8-7 in the tiebreaker and lost the next 3 points. Then there were no break points whatsoever in the 2nd set until *5-6 serving.

Roddick - So Unlucky
Harrison - High Hopes
Raonic - Nice to Watch
Soderling - Get Well Soon!
Rampras - Very Friendly and Cool Guy
Isner - Just Keep Going
Murray - Just Win a Slam
Del Potro - Recover Slam Winning Form

He hasn't even looked like he's liked tennis since Memphis last year so yeah, he's done.

Re: Memphis R1: Malisse defeats Roddick 7-6 (8) , 7-5

Roddick should definitely consider retirement at this point. When I saw him against Istomin last week, I thought he looked out of shape and overweight. It seems as if he's only playing for the sponsors now.

He lost last week because last year Memphis was the 7th week of the season, this year it's 8th.

When Roddick loses to his turkey it signifies that it's really bad with him.
