Open 13 R1 WWW: Chiudinelli vs. Llodra

Chiudinelli is one of Roger Federer's best friends and grew up together since they were juniors. Unfortunately Chiudinelli never had as much success Federer achieved despite Roger and Marco being close rivals in their juniors in Swizterland.

Llodra - the last pure serve & volley player left on tour. Once he is gone, S&V will be officially extinct probably for good.

Both players in their 30s. WWW?

There's an understatement of the year up there somewhere..

Llodra can trouble even the better ATP players with his style of play. Marco Chiu doesn't stand a chance methinks.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

This match will be on in a few minutes.

I think Llodra has a chance.

Yes, but not in France. h2h is 2-0 in Chiudi's favour but Llodra has very good results in Marseille, won it in 2010, F in 2009.

Llodra should be dangerous here, he likes to play in this event.

Yeah- at Australia Llodra was giving Murray a heck of a time in the first set, despite being exactly the wrong style to face Murray, especially on slow court like Australia. I hope he can go far here.
