Hard to see Roger winning the USO due to SS but amazing win today .

If it happens, it would be interesting that he ties John McEnroe's career title number in McEnroe's backyard.

Based on his historical record, his play thus far this year and his ranking, I would say his chances are excellent, but let's wait for the draw.

Re: Federer : The Mother Of All Quests : 20 Slams And 100 Titles.

By the way, as far as this year goes, he now has more titles this year, 6, since 2007 (total of 8), and more titles prior to the US Open since 2006 where he had 7. Though he's having a great season so far, I think it would take a US Open win to solidify it as his best season since 2006-2007. Really incredible resurgence at the age of 30-31. All credit to his effort.

Man, can't win them all, but certainly missed opportunities at the Olympics and Halle.

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

That failure to hold at 10-11 (I think) probably ended his chances for gold. I don't care for Halle.
