Re: Roger Federer : The Swiss King's Quest For 100 Titles

Roger has signed on to defend his title in Rotterdam. Yet more chance for his Dutch fans to see him playing. It seems he may be serious about this 109 titles record .

I havent been this nervous for a match in a long time, last time was probably RG 2009.

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

Fed's already said live on tv he might aim for 100 titles. If he's true to his word and hangs around for at least 4 more years, and plays more ATP250 events, he will surely come close. He could end as the undisputed tennis legend of all time.

So close yet so far, let's have faith but don't think the match will be easy or that the 7th Wimbledon is a lock.

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Re: Roger Federer : The Swiss King's Quest For 100 Titles

this is an ultra visionary thread. now even fed has uttered these words:

he said very specifically that he has connors 100+ titles in mind.

so you know what that means. that means exactly what i have been saying for 2 years now. you can expect fed to compete until he is 41-43 years old.

and he would like nothing better than to achieve 100 titles.

thanks mate. i have seen a number of tennis inssiders talk about his longevity and the possibility of 100 titles since we fired up this thread.

and as i have suggested, even fed himself has talked about the possibility recently.

i think somebody reads mtf. probably some of the tennis insiders.

i am thinking somebody in the press who writes about the sport.
