Re: Roger Federer : The Swiss Warrior King's Quest For 100 Titles

If he takes a wild card to MC to get some matches on clay, I believe he can win Madrid. That might be #74 I think.

8th day of July 2012: 7-time Wimbledon champion!

Once upon a time there was a myth about strong and weak eras. On this glorious day the clownery was eventually unmasked: 30 y.o. past-prime daddy Fed became #1 once again in the supposed strong "Spartan" era with his rivals at their peak.
And they all lived happily ever after.
Long live King Federer!

17 Grand Slam titles
7 Wimbledon titles
302 weeks at #1

Re: Roger Federer : The Swiss Warrior King's Quest For 100 Titles

I, personally would be very happy if he wins Madrid or Rome.
Rome is almost impossible, Rafa will win that, but... I don't know, he never won it before, I admit it would be great.

I think Fed has a good chance in Madrid, at least, it was pretty fast in 2009-2011, he won over Nadal in 2009 and had very close matches with him.

But, as everyonesay before, I think we should wait to see that blue-clay bouncing and speed.

Re: Roger Federer : The Swiss Warrior King's Quest For 100 Titles

He's got a good chance at Madrid, Halle, Wimbledon, Olympics, Cincy, USO, Shanghai and WTF if he plays like he has been recently. Strangely the hardest one of those appears to be Wimbledon, I think Roger really wants one more, to equal Pete, aint gonna be easy though.

Still, I'm pretty satisfied with Roger's season so far, he's done much better than 95% of the tour.
I think he even has the most ranking points if there was a 'race'.

Title #74 coming in the clay season. Probably Madrid.

Re: Roger Federer : The Swiss Warrior King's Quest For 100 Titles

He should. If he show a great clay level he can win a good ammount of points.
I don't think he would win this, Nadal is over-powerful here.

I also believe in Madrid being a great shot, if he plays Halle he should win IMO.

But I'd trade all three titles he's got this year for another GS

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

Re: Roger Federer : The Swiss Warrior King's Quest For 100 Titles

16 slams is not enough for you.

clay warrior has 10 and he is ailing and yet you never ask for anything for him.

just worry about small titles for fed for that is all he is going to get.

now go away and come back with a tall glass of red wine for me.

Ohhh you can never count Federer out of any Grand Slam until the moment is done, CD.
I'm pretty sure he's gonna win another one.

i am just messing with arkulari. she and i have known each other for years. she understands me.

wimbledon is a possibility if somebody else can get rid of no-djok and the clay warrior there.

Re: Roger Federer : The Swiss Warrior King's Quest For 100 Titles

I think Fed himself can beat both in Wimbledon or Us Open. And i'm pretty serious here.

But wait! I say he "CAN", not he would. Like I always say, Fed can turn into Shankerer and lose like a bitch vs any of them, or even lower players.

But I'm pretty sure Federer didn't say the last word vs Nadal/Djokovic in slams.

But well... Opinions are always subjetive, call me a believer, we would not know until those things happen.

I think Roger's best shot might be in Wimbledon, because right now Nole is a beast in HC slams.

And don't worry viruzzz, CD and I tease each other but we know we're just joking

Oh, you know me Clay Death. I believe in him at the "long-term" periods. But when the match is near, I'm scared as shit.

Every tennis match where one of my favs are implied are a shot of adrenaline in the balls.
