Re: San Jose SF Raonic def Harrision 7-6 6-2

Benneteau returned Raonic serves much better in the doubles match after the singles, so I hoping he has a bit of a read on it if they face in the final. Raonic won't have a Canadian crowd behind him either. But Benny has to get through Istomin first, and I have no idea what to expect from him.

Re: San Jose SF Raonic def Harrision 7-6 6-2

Commentators mentioned something about Raonic's predisposition to learn mathematics. It perfectly suits to him, I don't know the other more robotic player than him, it's not an accusation, it's his tactics he has all rights to play the way he wants. At the moment his game is amazingly predictable but he calculates astonishingly and it's enough for most of guys at the moment. I'm waiting for his matches against the big boys, I'm very curious how will they deal with his robotic game-style, he's only faced Nadal and Ferrer out of the Top 10. I don't mention Almagro or Tipsarevic who in my mind share a status of accidental Top 10'ers.

SAP Open is basically his own event, same sponsor, screams from the crowd at the opponents serve and errors.

I think that had more to do with Milos being uncomfortable with the doubles situation than Benneteau getting a better read on his serve. That doubles match was by far the worst he's served this season (even including the outdoor matches at the AO), his first serve percentage was way down.

And as Milos as shown in both San Jose and Chennai, he can do just fine when the crowds aren't loud. In fact, he may prefer it that way.

Agree with this. If Julien will make it to F, he will just make his F record even worse.. there is no way he will beat Milos, they played at the same surface also indoors just few days ago, Julien had much more winners than UE and still lost in straight sets, there is nothing he can do, about doubles and his crap serving i think it was because he simply wasn´t firing bombs on 100% - i think he was affraid he can hit NEstor, Milos flat bombs are 220-230km/h so i believe he was affraid he can hit NEstor and his serve in doubles just couldn´t be on 100%

He was the better player in the first set. This result has not much to do with improvements because Ryan gifted the TB. Ryan has been very tired all week after such long flight and he is in bad form.

Not really. They were about equal until Harrison gave away a few points in the TB. Milos' won the same amount of serve points in the set and three more return points. He then blew him out in the 2nd when Harrison gave up.

The fact that Harrison wasn't in his best form isn't Milos' problem.
