Why Roger? He won it 6 times.

Sampras won it 7 times, as did Renshaw. Navratilova won it 9 times.

Renshaw wasn't open era , too traditional to name the court by the female player, Sampras never had that status, can you imagine even if Federer will be ranked outside of top 100 playing a Wimbledon match outside the two main courts like they put Pete in unfortunately his last match in Wimbledon . Fed maybe has the best arguments but this never gonna happen like we all know

Drooling after Schuettler, Bolelli, Volandri, Starace (short haired version), ToJo, Tursunov, Alves, Davydenko, Djokovic, Petzschner, Ferrero, Simon, Qureshi

Because it's somewhat funny? That's actually more than you can say about all the other joke threads on here.

Prefer the "Alexander Popp Arena" personally. Wimbledon was his tennis life.

It would be a nice gesture if they name Roehampton courts with Popp's name
