Never got it either.

He didn't have. Fed played pretty well actually. Isner was just out of this world. When such a player can remain for an entire match "in the zone" it's pretty much unplayable for anyone.

This is not correct. Everytime Roger showed up in Daviscup he gave all for his country. But as Stan seldom lives up to the expectations and is an underachiever in Daviscup, Roger is always under big pressure. Yesterday you could see he was a bit tight and nervous during the encounter. It was not lack of motivation, but nerves and an opponent, who played too good yesterday.
Without motivation Roger would never have won 15 matches in a row since 2003.

I would feel better about this loss if this were true. Alas, it is not.

This loss shows Fed simply does not care about his fans.

Fedtards are the nicest fanbase on this forum. Respeck them bro.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Federer was declared dead numerous times since 2008 and has won no slams since. Oh wait....

Federer: Future number one.

Fed vs Rafa

Wimbledon: 7-2
U.s open: 5-2
AO: 4-1
FO 1-9
WTF: 6-0
Weeks at number one: 302-140(about)

Really no contest
