Re: WWW ATP 500: Rotterdam

How come no one voted Robin Haase. The crowd will be 100% on his side.

COME ON cumps, think about the massive home-crowd home-town advantage.

Berdych never won more than one title / year. Will he manage to change that this year ?

By the way, does anybody know why there isn't a winner in 1984? What's happened ?

This is the mental giant Robin Haase we're talking about here. He'll probably just implode harder

They heald the tournament in December for the last time in 1983 and decided to make the tournament in february so the skipped 84 otherwise the would have a tournament twice in 75 days

9!!!!!!!

Rafael Nadal Perera, the best there was, there best there is and the best there will ever be
14 Grand Slams while he was plagued with injuries is remarkable and he isn't done just yet
Mad respect for the most beautiful player I've ever seen, Roger Federer
People talking about Nole winning 4 in a row and Rafa/Roger not being able to. Peak Nadal and Federer would have won multiple CYGS against this field

Re: WWW ATP 500: Rotterdam

If Roger plays this, I think he has it in the bag... Indoors, he can slash Delpo and Berdych even at his worst.

I actually think Bernard Tomic will easily win career-year mixed doubles slam in 2020.

Jealous? Yeah, you are, you dirty hater.

Re: WWW ATP 500: Rotterdam

Why are people voting Federer?

He still hasn't recovered from that soul-crushing defeat at the AO to Nadal. Remember it took Murray something like 8 MONTHS to recover from his epic loss at the AO last year. Federer loss was even worse, so it is easy to see Roger going into a Murray-like slum this year until after the USO.

Also haven't people considered the fact Roger will be completely exhausted after the Davis Cup best of 5 sets? Imagine 2 -6 hour 5 set matches against Isner AND Fish and old-man Federer legs will give out.

I could see Fed going out early this time.

^^^
Why are you allowed to post such studipity. And lol at comparing Federer to some thing like Murray. Just lol

I voted Fed as he will play 1000% as he has long promised Krajicek to play here plus it's indoors so everyone's fighting for 2nd place, really.

No way will Fish take him to five!
maybe Isner can, and serve missles and backerer shows up.

Fed is 34-1 on indoor since 2010 Stockholm... (21 in a row)

woulda been 35-0 but for mega choke v Monfils in Paris 2010

Yeah, I remember it well. Definitely a humiliating result, but ultimately quite satisfying because it finally allowed SodKing to take his first Master's.

Weird tournament in general, actually. Llodra had a fairy-tale run, knocking out Djokovic and nearly making it to the final; he blew an open court volley on his MP and Soderling managed to come back.
