I like surfaces in this way. Maybe a little quicker, but not à la Montpellier.
fast surface doesnt equate to Aces winning Fast surface means rallies last about 2-4 strokes and we see good attacking tennis with aggressive forehands and backhands as well as a few decent volleys

WTF should be neutral, agree on Bercy though.

It's ALWAYS WTA tards who spout this garbage.

Why can't indoors be lightning fast? Gives those net rushers and huge servers the chance to obtain ranking points?

The serve is the hardest shot to master. Why can't it be rewarded in some quarters the same way a big forehand or, in the 2012 edition of tennis, rabbit-like scrambling can reward players?

Re: Would you like WTF London and Paris-Bercy to be as fast as Montpellier?

Yes but it will not happen.

One day people here should understand that it's the players who decide, our voice doesn't count.

They asked the ATP to ask Berdy director to slow down Bercy : they got it (Bercy director told it).

And now they want to play WTF right after the US Open and then cancel all MS1000 and ATP500 tournaments after then.

Bercy is a tournament which will die within a few years.

Besides here is what I heard about Australian Open final last week :

- people who played tennis a lot didn't like it

- people who were just occasional TV viewers told me "have you seen the final ? it was gorgeous !"

... and the latter ones are more numerous

You can have courts that play reaosnably quickly in the rally without serve domination - the bounce is the key. It's much more important to rally speed than serve.

Get more sense talking to a wall.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I didn't think montpellier was very fast. Chennai was fast though and Bercy in 2010.. R.I.P those surfaces in any big tourney.. Even the US OPEN
