Montpellier R2: Mahut def. F. Mayer 7-6(3) 6-3

Next up: Berdych

Should be a routine win for Berdych 90% of the times, unfortunately.

I swear, this guy has gotten worse than usual since beating Rafa .

Still, a much needed win for Mahut though .

Mahut! Always nice to see him play.
Flo is obviously still not fully recovered/new injury?

Quite possible and even likely Berdych will be able to take the title beating a Frenchman in every round.

Florian obviously needs to find the rhythm back, otherwise he would have bagelled him.

Re: Montpellier R2: Mahut def. F. Mayer 7-6(3) 6-3

Nice and entertaining game. Mahut was hitting the ball and moving well, did a good job to get back on serve in the first set and was lucky with the first mini break in the breaker, which Mayer ultimately surrendered with a double fault. In the second set, the Frenchman was holding serve more easily, getting an early break and another one for the match. Lots of slice battles and serve and volley in that match, especially from Mahut.

Roger Federer ♦ David Goffin ♦ Mikhail Youzhny ♦ Dustin Brown ♦ Pierre-Hugues Herbert
