Nole could have gone and won the FO and be a legend but he fuck it up. He allowed the moonballer to continue collect slams. He has the game to beat him but took him 2 sets to wake up.

luie still doesnt get it nole fan. what are we to do with him.

its not about the superior backhand on clay. nole has the greatest backhand the world has ever known.

it is nadal`s will, his topspin forehand, and his movement on the red clay that does the damage.

He took the game to a new physical level, surpassing even Nadal.*

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?

For 4 years already (2008) I had :
- put Nadal in Sampras's category (second category after Laver/Fed/Borg/Gonzales)
- predicted Djokovic would be in Lendl-McEnroe-Connors-Agassi's category
- predicted Murray would be in Edberg-Becker-Wilander-Courier's category

You can laugh if you want but so far my impressions have been rather confirmed than not

My main wonder now is about Nadal : will he make the first category or not ?

useless old guy

djokovic's greatness forced murray to hire lendl in order to overcome this extreme physicality with some brutality

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?

Even with only five majors, I believe Djokovic has already reached legendary status because of an aspect of his game style. Just as Agassi is noted as the games best returner; Sampras the best server; Federer for being the most complete; and Nadal for his topspin – I believe Djokovic's defence puts him in that category and is something a lot of players should be working towards.

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?

Djokovic went 10-1 against Fedal last year and had to beat them both to finally get to the #1 ranking. That to me is legendary, how many other players have done that?

I think by the time Djoker hangs up his racquet, he would have had an Agassi-like career - 8 slams.

Djokovic, Federer, Tsonga, Del Potro, Wawrinka, Thiem, Nishikori, Raonic

Congrats Djokovic on winning 2016 French Open and becoming the first man since Rod Laver in 1969 to win 4 consecutive majors!

I could agree with your first 2 points, but Murray 'in Edberg, Becker, Wilander category' please, do no think so. and this is coming from someone who dearly likes Murray.

Yes a legend

Peak Nole> peak Nadal

God is Love. To know Love is to know God. So ask yourself if you hold any hate for another in your heart how can you have room for Love, room for God
