His legacy will probably be how he revolutionized the game using The Egg.

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?

He is not a legend simply because he is not old enough yet. After a few more successful years, he'll definitely be a legend. The lack of a characteristic style of play makes it hard to consider him a legend.

Verses will be passed word of mouth from generation to generation in Serbia about the marvels of a gluten-free diet.

“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in a society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.”

Yes, Djoker is a legend. His form last year was amazing, he was unplayable for a long period of time. It took an awesome performance by Fed to finally beat him. He is still young, he will win many more tournaments.

Call me when he wins 8+ slams. With his boring game, he would need at least that to be considered a legend.

That is why Rios is a legend although he has no slam, and Nadal needs an extra 20 slams to be considered a legend.

His legend is still in the making. I hope he can reach 10 slams to not only seal the deal but to also prove that this is the best era of all time. No more ridiculous debate.

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?

Legend is a very strong word. I'd say that he's not there....YET. He is definitely on his way to legendary status, though (since he's been so consistent in the slams lately)

At the very least, he'd have to win another slam (which would be 6)

Re: Do you consider Novak Djokovic as a legend in the game?

We all look at this thing differently. i.e. Safin is a legend in my book, although he won 'only' 2 slams. yes, Nole is a legend even if he doesn't win a single match and retires tomorrow. He was able to accomplish something truly amazing in Fedal era.
