That 2010 USO semi obviously the pivotal point in his career.

He's become clutch in those 5-setters.

Djoker's Davids Cup in 2010 is his career's turning point!

Re: 5 All In The Fifth Set, Novak Always Wins.

In the Open era Ivanisevic won the most 5-setters which went to 6 all in the final set - 7.

Code:
Larsson 6-7(5) 6-3 6-1 3-6 9-7
Hlasek 3-6 6-0 4-6 7-6(1) 9-7
Santoro 6-7(5) 6-7(1) 6-4 6-4 8-6
Bailey 5-7 7-6(3) 6-7(3) 6-4 9-7
Krajicek	6-3 6-4 5-7 6-7(5) 15-13
Pioline 6-4 2-6 7-5 1-6 9-7
Rafter 6-3 3-6 6-3 2-6 9-7
Counting 5-setters from "5 all" the best is Krickstein with 11 (never won longer 5th set than 8-6).

Among active players also interesting is Kohlschreiber's case - as Djokovic he's never lost once the scoreboard showed "5:5" winning it just one time less than a Serb.

Code:
Dlouhy 6-2 3-6 7-5 4-6 17-15
Davydenko 6-7(5) 6-2 6-2 4-6 7-5
Roddick 6-4 3-6 7-6(9) 6-7(3) 8-6
Minar 6-4 3-6 4-6 6-2 8-6
Verdasco 6-4 6-2 1-6 2-6 8-6
Gabashvili 7-6(6) 5-7 2-6 7-6(5) 9-7

What is Novak's record now in 5 setters ? He should have a very good ratio, if not the best ? (among those who played at least 5-10 five sets matches)

I'm not entirely sure if the stats are correctly updated, but Djokovic is currently tied for 9th overall with a 13-5 (.722) win/loss 5 set record. Among only active players, he is only behind Nadal who sits at a 13-5 record (.833).

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

He and Nadal are phenomenal 5-set players.

honestly I think the USO semi-final was more important even though the Davis Cup got most of the credit...when he beat Federer, saving MPs, his facial expression after the final point said it all - he couldn't believe he had done it, he was stunned.
Even though he was beaten by a very, very good Nadal in the final, I think this was the turning point for him, this was when his belief started to reach the heights it's at now.
