It's the big 2 for one year now IMO.

Nalbandian/Davydenko/Berdych/Gulbis/Nadal rock, the rest is more or less sucky.

Great effort and fight from Murray, but if you spot the world #1 a free set+break headstart (30 errors in 10 games!), then convert only 7 of 24 breakpoints, it's a miracle if you win.

Yet.... he almost did.

The only reason I cared for this match is because I'm interested in Lendl's influence. Could be a great year for Murray (even though I hate his tennis).

Great fight from Murray. It was a quality match despite what some people will say, but Nole's antics leave a sour taste.
I'm sorry mate but that's bitter.

No need to be sour Clyde. Both players gave it their all, both should've own in 3 or maybe 4 sets, but the nerves got the better of them.

well done to Nole, sad for Andy.

NADAL will take the title, and it's more guaranteed now because there is NO WAY Nole recovers from this.

Respect to both players. Very physical match. Lots of baseline grinding. Lots of good returning and lots of breaks.

1 S/V point all match and that was probably a mistake by Murray. So yes S&V is dead.

It's 100% baseline grind on blue clay but in the end it turned entertaining

Yep. These people can't appreciate good tennis when they see it.

I didn't like Djokovic's behaviour, but he was clutch as hell.

I don't think anyone can knock Murray's fight there.

The missed drive volley should have sent him spiralling like at Wimbledon but he came back.

But will he get a better chance than that? The backhands into the net on the bps at 5-5 might haunt him.
