Agree! Only 9 pages too... not so many. Going to bed now... somehow doubt there will be over 25 by morning. Pretty used to this now.

Re: AO 2012 SF: Nadal def Federer 6-7(5) 6-2 7-6(5) 6-4

predictable and uglier than usual (nice to see Roger brought back to earth tho)
Nadal may be trashed in the final if he's playing like this

He should have shown more patience and waited for short balls. Reason he doesn't is that he has no confidence vs Nadal. As soon as things go bad with his normal tactic he thinks he need to switch it up and go for broke all the time. Just leads to a shitload of UEs. Same story all the time.

In the end who cares really. Nadal will be picked apart by his next opponent who wont run in to give him 20 free forehand winners or hit 20 BH errors
Sorry but this is stupid. What do you want him to do? he's 30 1/2. He can't play a grinding match against Nadal on a slow hard court. He would have benn burned out by the beggining of the 3rd set.

Roger Federer | Benoît Paire| Stanislas Wawrinka | Nick Kyrgios

That BP in the final game summed up the rivalry, lol.

Re: AO 2012 SF: Nadal def Federer 6-7(5) 6-2 7-6(5) 6-4

listen i like federer and all and i predicted rafa's win like any other reasonable person. Roger is 30 man cut him some break. Nadal ran balls down that probabaly only he and djokovic in their prime could ever get.

You guys don't realize how much slower fed is from when he was 22-23 years old. His forehand has lost alot of pace and action. His movment is soo much worse but it doesnt show unless he plays the nadals and djokovic.
He would serve many more aces in crunch time and that goes away for entire sets now. He plays too high and low these days but thats expected at his age. It should have been obvious when wimbledon 2007 went 5 sets against a clay courter that he was on his decline.

Listen its been a mental block before but now it really is to the point that fed doesn't have physically the tools to keep up with nadal anymore. Hey at least he made it a close match. Thats all you can hope for.

Lets hope for a nole-rafa final as murray has no chance against nadal. Maybe nadal and nole will have an epic match this time.

Fed

Rafa, four slam finals in a row, all slam final reached multiple times

Needs to play more like he did agianst Berdych, whether it's Murray or Djokovic. His BH has been pretty decent this tournament until today, not a good sign. Wost thing though is he just cannot pull away from opponents these days.
