Break point converted there for Mischa would've likely made it the longest match in Aussie. A few minutes shy of five hours.

They always think you have to win everything, it always needs to be a success story, and if it's not obviously what is the point. Maybe you have to go back and think, Why have I started playing tennis? Because I just like it. It's actually sort of a dream hobby that became somewhat of a job. Some people just don't get that ever."

Who else here thinks that these 5 hours will be more time on court than Golubev spends at the other 3 Slams combined?

Wow looks like Golubev is coming back, I remember these 2 played at the US Open and Golubev was shanking like every other ball. I'm surprised Youzhny lost this, he looked really good against Nadal in Doha. Gasquet will most likely pick him apart though next round

well done. The last time I saw Golubev play was at the USO vs. Nadal.

Golubev has a huge game, so hope he gets it back together.

Youzhny has lost some of his sting, sadly.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.
Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal
