Re: Australian Open Rd1: Nishikori beats Robert 6-1,7-6,6-0

Robert basically gave up the chickens there, but man that was a performance. Forehand was a wand today. Driving forward like a king. I won't get ahead of myself and say anything else.

I used to be your everyday average Joe. Then one day some guy told me I can do whatever I set my heart on. So I tried to fly, and failed. He then told me that there are limitations in life and that I should be more modest in my aspirations. So I robbed a convenience store and got arrested. He then told me not to take everything people say literally, and to use my own initiative. So I became a Trump supporter, and am politely asking you to leave my country.

Well done, Kei!

Nice to see a match like this for a change when he's not a slow starter.
Started really well in the first set despite the windy condition. In the second set, Robert hit back and showed why he was able to beat Berdych from two sets down at RG, he was up a break in the set before Kei leveled to 5-5. Kei did really well to take that close set and ran away in the third.

Good luck vs Souza or Ebden!
