Congrats to Baggy btw
Baghdatis is an all-court player, Del Potro is a uni-dimensional factory ball machine.

The talent thing's been explained by others.

Baghdatis of 06 AO would beat 2009 USO final Fed, that I have no doubts.

Because of the conditions in 2011, this is the era with the least correlation between 'talent' and 'results'.

Delpo looked really slow and a lot of errors there too.. He needs to get his shit, it's been a whole year since comeback.

Yes, he did. But not in that term. He asked: "Why do people so rooting fo Baggy here, in Australia? Is it Cyprus near to Australia?"
So, actually he knows where Cyprus really is.

Baghdatis of AO 2006 was nothing special. 5 set comebacks whole tournament.

I kinda agree but you must admit that Novak has great results because of his game and talent not only surfaces ....

Two of my favourite players one against each other
I would've prefered to see this in the final but meh...

Well done Marcos Delpo

I watched the match. Definitely Delpo lost his chances here as he was serving 5-4 in the first set and then in the tie break was 5-4 and two serves to close the match. No big expectations for him for the Australian Open with this poor mentality.

Baggy was awesome amazing shot making and exciting tennis against as boring as hell ballbashing grinder Mug Potro. I hope he takes the title.

It would be great to see Baggy make another great run at AO this year.

given the circumstances in which he found himself, Juan Martin's awkwardness/rudeness/boorishness is understandable.

he knows about Cyprus.
I think you are being biased. Rowdy crowd behavior that upsets players is endemic only at the US Open and nowhere else in the civilized world. That's what MTF says and they're the experts.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."
