Hero of the day: Matteo Viola

1st round AO Q: Viola comes back from 0-5 0-40 and wins against Lajovic 8-6 in the 3rd! Lajovic had 8 or 9 matchpoint, also one at 6-5.

Re: Hero of the day: Matteo Viola

I saw that 0-5 but it was 30-40 for me when i clicked into the livescore button. It's really hell of a comeback since he made that game from 0-40. Choke of the year & comeback of the year. I don't think anyone could beat this match this year.

This is particularly impressive considering Viola has no weapons whatsoever

Re: Hero of the day: Matteo Viola

VIola showed testicular fortitude in this match, cojones of epic proportions; but how any serious CH/Futures player can lose to his guy on a hard court is beyond me; the fact is dirtballers like the conditions down under, but still Lajovic joined the elite group of chokers with this tremeandous choke..

Alla ricerca di un piccolo grande amore....

No way, Lajovic should retire as soon as possible and dedicate himself to gardening for the rest of his life.

Re: Hero of the day: Matteo Viola

Viola is not a 'hero'. It was just Lajović's choke. A huge one.

Re: Hero of the day: Matteo Viola

I watched this Viola at my local challenger, really boring weaponless player. What a win and story to tell your children.

I hope Lajović will be OK, I would be thinking of killing myself on his place.
