Think they said that for the yongest brother, not for Marko

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Re: Djokovic gets rejected by Turkish futures tournament director

What is exactly the funny part of this? He asked a favour for his brother, and the tournament director has been really stupid. It is full of these Turkish tournaments in the year (one for a week, If I'm not wrong) and he could have given a WC to Marko, so that he would have catched the attenction on one of these tournaments.

People laughing as if something big happened, but it's soo normal.

Re: Djokovic gets rejected by Turkish futures tournament director

I cant stand some of you idiotic people...Why would anyone care about this? A FUTURES tournament in turkey for djoko's brother, who is probably ranked somewhere in the 1000's...why is this news? And to the dude who posted this thread "#1 gets rejected by atp #113" ??? Ilhan didn't reject him; he supposedly tried to help, based on the stupid article.

Secondly, it is a cultural thing. Helping family and friends above all is natural for someone coming from the Balkans, while doing things this way is corruption for people in other cultures.
It should be natural for people of any culture. What kind of absurd culture looks down on people for supporting their family members?

Now, as far as the actual rules and regulations of the governing bodies deciding on these things... that's another story.

He can purchase his career as a hobby(as he does now) because he doesn't have to work for the rest of his life
