Auckland R1: Starace def. Montanes 6-3 6-2

Well Starace won 80% of his serves and didn't face a bp so Montanes must have been quite bad. The first game he double faulted twice and gave his serve away and then wasn't broken again until early in the 2nd set and it was all over. Starace has a chance against Falla?

Yeah Montanes wins an average of 4-5 matches on hard per year so it's not that surprising, but he should have played really awful in order to lose against Starace. Let's hope Falla purges him as he did in the last RG, something like 76 61 61.

Poor Albert. His bad form continue? Sure, he's not amazing on hardcourt, but he should've won this. The clay is around the corner, Albert

Potito

Falla next!
Don't expect much to be honest, Montanes seems to be in quite a slump while Falla has been impressive for his standards.

Even I would probably win some points of Monty thesedays especialy if I showed up and play in a tight short skirt
