Nadal's dealt with him twice at Tokyo - in 2010 & 2011 - straight set wins both time. Nadal also dealt with Muller last year who was serving out of his mind for the first 2 sets & he still managed to have the composure to come through it. So this idea Nadal would have been unable to cope with Raonic at Wimbledon last year is more than a little silly...
Let´s get the facts straight. Nadal faced in 2010 a Raonic that had yed to implode in the circuit. And in 2011 he faced a Raonic, that only had played 2 matches (Davis cup round and first round of Tokyo) after that nasty hip injury. And yet, he was still competitive.
So i really don´t understand how come those two defeats really explain what Nadal would have done to Raonic, since those come from really differente conditions, as of we knew of last year´s. And seriously, were you really expecting that much from a guy that two weeks ago had stepped for the first time on a grass court? I wasn´t.
And putting Muller and Raonic on the same picture is, let´s be honest, absurd. Raonic is clutch, Muller is a choker. He showed very well that feature in that WImbledon match.
