Re: When will Lleyton Hewitt retire?

Hopefully soon, so I don't have to suffer through his mugfests during Australian Open when there are better matches on. His level, judging by Hopman Cup, is probably top 300 at most right now and he'll still be put on RLA and be given priority over better players.

Re: When will Lleyton Hewitt retire?

Around 10-12 months if he is unable to play a few tournaments in a row without another issue popping up.

I used to be your everyday average Joe. Then one day some guy told me I can do whatever I set my heart on. So I tried to fly, and failed. He then told me that there are limitations in life and that I should be more modest in my aspirations. So I robbed a convenience store and got arrested. He then told me not to take everything people say literally, and to use my own initiative. So I became a Trump supporter, and am politely asking you to leave my country.

This year after winning the olympics.

I actually think Bernard Tomic will easily win career-year mixed doubles slam in 2020.

Jealous? Yeah, you are, you dirty hater.

Hewitt will win 1 match at the AO this year, and retire when he loses his 2nd match to Nole at night

Re: When will Lleyton Hewitt retire?

Lleyton should pull a Wayne Arthurs and keep playing til he's like 36-37. Who cares if he can't play the main events, at least in Australia, he will get wildcards to get in anyways.

Re: When will Lleyton Hewitt retire?

Lleyton is clearly waiting for the Olympics because he rates himself on grass. He will retire after the 2013 AO but will most likely play the first round of Davis Cup following the 2013 AO because he is patriotic and then never play again.

Re: When will Lleyton Hewitt retire?

I could see him retiring this year but still playing AOs for a few years after that.
