He's already coaching Lopez, might not want the additional duty just yet.

Moya said on twitter that he's not a candidate for this job.

The name Alex Corretja has been dropped but no idea if he's a serious candidate.

If I would've been the Spanish Davis Cup coach this year they would've won it too, who cares?

I am the Nelson Mandela of MTF

Who cares, Spanish Team is pure shit without Nadal and Ferrer. They kept this team alive for years and now it will fade away and go back to pre-Nadal era when both of them are gone.
Expect them to lose the first round next year.

I disagree. They won the cup without Nadal in 2008.

You think they'll lose to Golubev and Kukushkin at home
Sorry but get your facts straight, they're still probably reaching the semis. Austria/Russia in the quarters isn't too difficult either (at least at home though I don't know where they'd play) .

Federer |Söderling |most of the Germans

I also like: Wawrinka | Tsonga | Dimitrov | Isner | Gulbis |

Warm regards: 6-3 6-0 / 6-3 6-4

Good move for them i guess, that was to play Lopez Verdasco on the double..should have lost the tie only for that reason.

I cannot imagine that team without Nadal, Ferrer, Lopez and Verdasco.

Corretja got the job.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Alex Corretja is the new Spanish Davis Cup captain

Corretja is a good pick. He was a gutsy player in th e ATP for many years and played Sampras so hard Sampras threw up

I would like to see Juan Carlos Ferrero be the Davis Cup captain someday. His record of achievement both within and outside the field of tennis is outstanding.
