Will there be a new court surface ?

I was thinking about all the different types of surfaces such as grass, clay, carpet, etc. I was curious if there will ever be a new kind of surface and if so what are some possibilities ?

Re: Will there be a new court surface ?

wood, what else?

Q. Do you think you would have been able to play as well as you played today, or you think you would have pulled out from the game if it wasn't the Masters Cup final?

ROGER FEDERER: No, Roger Federer doesn't pull out. Otherwise he doesn't walk on court (smiling).

Re: Will there be a new court surface ?

Grass would be nice.

Be cool to see one tournament that is really fast again. Big serves and easy put away volleys certainly do get boring, but it would be nice to see one tournament like this. See if the baseliners can still make the passing shots.

Re: Will there be a new court surface ?

Maybe the mythical surface known as CARPET, used in the days of yore, will make a return?

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo
