Who had the best slice ever?

Ken Rosewall? Jmac? Federer?

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

Re: Who had the best slice ever?

Federer obviously. He has killed big servers with that shot since 1999.

Roger Federer | Benoît Paire| Stanislas Wawrinka | Nick Kyrgios

Re: Who had the best slice ever?

Rosewall with wooden raquet, Federer with modern raquets.

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

Re: Who had the best slice ever?

I think Fed...
That slice is one of the reasons I think Fed would do well in the 90s.
Imagine that slice in the fast-grass...
Orgasmic.

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?
LOOK AT ME!
LOOK AT ME, BOY! THESE ARE THE SCARS OF APPEAL MODERATION!
Take a good long stare, you know you want to.
You're not even man enough to look at my face.

Appeal moderation isn't pretty, you have to watch your friends go to dust.

Re: Who had the best slice ever?

Even though Fed played like crap today some of his slices were still awesome I haven't watched enough of Rosewall's matches etc to say decisively though. Fed seems to be the best of the last 10 years.

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

Re: Who had the best slice ever?

youzhny

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

David Nalbandian

Nadal, Sampras and Roddick, in no particular order. Oh wait, what was the question again?

Re: Who had the best slice ever?

oh yeah Federer definitely of course I am not too familiar with Rosewall, but he never had to handle quite the firepower that Federer does when using the slice as a weapon

<3 Roger Federer <3 David Ferrer <3 Juan Martin Del Potro <3 Ernest Gulbis <3

------------------------ <3 Richard Gasquet <3

Rafael Nadal
