probably Ferrer, then again the guy never beat him. fed should make the final comfortable.

Berdych > Djokovic > Ferrer.

That's right. Even after the results so far this week, as a Federer fan I'm more scared of Djokovic than Ferrer. We will see, though.

If Berdych wins in 2 sets (not sure if score is important) then he can qualify in first.

Ferrer, because he always fights and is good form. He's also motivated.

Fed should still win but you never know with his brainfarts and the best of 3 scenarios

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

Any Berdych win he qualify first and any loss Djokovic will finish second. So Berdych can either finish 1 or 3 in the group so Federer as finishing the winner of the group will play either Djokovic or Ferrer tomorrow.
On paper Djokovic would be a tougher opponent but he isn`t in form right now while Ferrer is playing really well so certainly Ferrer is the toughest player.

I think it's enough if Berdych wins at all. H2H says Berdych gets to be group #1 then.

Re: Who's a bigger threat to Fed in the semis?

I think it's obvious now:

Berdych > Djokovic > Ferrer

Djokovic is running out of gas, and Ferrer just cannot win against Roger.

Edit: since Berdych cannot meet Roger in the semis, I think Djokovic would still be a bigger threat for Roger.

I don't care who you are, facing Ferrer in this mood is never fun

Re: Who's a bigger threat to Fed in the semis?

Berdych>Djokovic>Ferrer

If Fed himself got to choose I'm 95% certain he'd take Ferrer even in their current states. Ferrer is a hardworker but he doesn't have the weapons to hurt Federer. His serve isn't dangerous either and Fed will always feel confident even when he gets behind.

If he gets behind vs a powerful player with a lethal 1st serve like Berdych he might not get many chances to get back in the set. Always more dangerous

Anyone but Nole right now. I don't think Nole is even a threat to old retired players right now

Re: Who's a bigger threat to Fed in the semis?

As Federer can only play Djokovic or Ferrer now, if given the choice, Federer would take Ferrer, regardless of the form of Djokovic. Djokovic could turn up and give a damn and then Federer could be in for a tough 2 hours. Ferrer in contrast is one of Fed's turkeys. The H2H is 10 or 11 - 0.
