BTW, it's interesting to note that there were 3 French players and 1 American in the semis of Metz while there were 3 Russians and 1 American in the semis of Moscow (WTA). In both tournaments, there is a final contested between two players native to the country (All-French final in Metz, and all-Russian final in Moscow).
He needed a quick one, because now Haehnel has been on the court much longer than Richard in the semis. Hopefully, the final will be a good one, with Richard comming out on top! Come on, Nadal won a title, you have to match that!
