Delpo would be top 10 until September, when he chokes vs Tomic because "He likes the australian vibe".
He then realises the guy is Croatian and retires until 2013, when he would triple bagel Tomic in the AO final.

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?
LOOK AT ME!
LOOK AT ME, BOY! THESE ARE THE SCARS OF APPEAL MODERATION!
Take a good long stare, you know you want to.
You're not even man enough to look at my face.

Appeal moderation isn't pretty, you have to watch your friends go to dust.
Appeal moderation is always hungry for your soul and sweet emotions.

First and once godly-worhispped appeal moderator.
(Actually 2nd)

Only if he gets injured/gets some big fitness issue. Otherwise more likely to go up than down.

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Djokovic
Nadal
Murray
Federer
Tsonga
Soderling
Del Potro
Raonic
Tomic
Dolgopolov

Actually ...it would surprise me if there is no Federer. I cannot see why he would stay if he is to end as No4...if not headed back to no1, there is no point.

Re: 2012 final top 10, how do you see it?

If Tsonga is nr 5 before Delpo and Soda that would mean that they are injured and can't play the clay season in full force..

This should be the top 10 with reservation for Soda

Djokovic
Nadal
Federer
Murray
Delpo
Soda
Tsonga
Ferrer
Berdych
Monfils

Re: 2012 final top 10, how do you see it?

I agree with majority of rankings. In no order just in top 10 - Most people write Big 4 and another ,,big 4,, - Delpo, Soderling, Tsonga, Berdych - guys with big serve, attacking game, power game.

Than should be there Ferrer - has already enough ammount of points for good seeding in next season, should have his QF-part of draw, that means can´t be eliminated by better players sooner than QF and get-defend enough points to stay top 10, very consistent guy,- definetely lower, he simply is not 5 best guy when others are healthy too, but should stay in top 10 pretty comfortably. I think this 9 players were wrote by more than half of people here.

Last player to make top 10 complete:
Fish - will be again older- and just can´t see him having better season, can stay in top 10, but probably will drop outside top 10
Almagro- Most likely will be outside top 10
Tipsarevic- Most likely outside just like Almagro
Who has chance to be top 10 - Isner, Dolgopolov, Gasquet, Cilic, Monfils, others maybe
From this group of guys only Monfils i think has what it takes to be in top 10 if all are fit. He has biggest potential, can play on all surfaces, but he need finally 1 year to play without injury.

Guys like Cilic, Gasquet can be good but rather solid top 20- top 15 than top 10. Isner- Dolgopolov- can be top 15, but no way can get more points than those 9 guys plus Monfils if healthy. Isner is too reliable on serve and can´t get points on clay, Dolgo is too inconsistent and his FS% is horrible, if he wannts to climb up in ranking needs higher FS%.

And last thing Almagro is not top 10 yet- to finish year in top 10. Delpo still has 2 DC matches and has his chances. It will be very difficult to beat Nadal or Ferrer on clay in ESP, but he need only 1 win - against Ferrer probably to be 10th and replace Almagro.
