Paris R3: Ferrer Def. Dolgopolov 6-3 6-2

The terrier eating up the foetuses as per usual.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Great season comes to an unceremonious end for Dolgo. 2012 should be a fruitful year.

Ferrer cruising, not unexpectedly. Should Fed bolt out somewhere during this tournament, I hope for him - "the eternal bridesmaid" - to finally grab a master's title. VAMOS, David!!!

Dolgo. o_O. Total UE machine once again.
Well at least he managed to avoid the breadstick in that final set.

Haha, I was way off on this one, really thought Dolgo would make it a good fight.

Hopefully he can get his act together next year.

Re: Paris R3: Ferrer Def. Dolgopolov 6-3 6-2

caught the end of the match when Dolgo broke Ferru to love and then when he served to stay in the match he hit two DFs in the same game and totally threw away the last comeback chance. It's typical him this season. Many matches he should have made close and at least given himself a chance (and the opponent a chance to choke) instead gifted breaks and eventually the entire match.

For 2012 he needs to rethink his serve tactics and shot selection. It's clear that he got a shitload of talent. Needs to be smarter. Can't go in the Monfils trap and clown around with fancy shots and throw away important points.

But good on Ferrer. Guy is Mr.Consistent. But he won't win the title

Dolgo and me have something in common: we both peak for Umag.
