I'm always going to bet against Alex in this match up, for sanity's sake.

Ferrer is too solid vs. erratic Dolgopolov.

7-5, 6-3.

No dog in that fight... I'd say, Ferrer wins that one in straight sets. It could be a fun to watch!

Re: Paris R3 WWW: David Ferrer vs. Alexandr Dolgopolov

Such a fun clash of completely opposite playing styles.

I'm going to be controversial and say Dolgo wins, he will overcome his crappy performances in the last three tournaments and end his year in style.

Re: Paris R3 WWW: David Ferrer vs. Alexandr Dolgopolov

Pics leads the H2H 3-1, but all of their matches have been 3 setters. I'm also upset that two of my favorite players are meeting so early but hopefully it will be a good match and I can find the time to watch it.

Ferrer in 3 is my prediction.

Supporting the unusual strokes gang: Dolgopolov, Mayer, Mannarino, Tomic
