Re: Paris R2: Ferrer def. Mahut 6-4 6-4

umpire Helfer calling game-set-match after Mahut double making it *5-4 Ferrer

  • Tomas Berdych beating Roger in Cincy - start of a good late season run
  • Radek Stepanek winning D.C. - back to top 30, top 20 next
  • Lukas Rosol RG R3, challenger titles - deserves top 100

Support also: Söderling, del Potro, Gulbis, Berankis

Yeah, Mahut wasn't that bad. He'd win this match on last year's surface probably.

He would have been so bann if he did that on MTF.

BTW: Mahut is such a mental midget, I think he won something like 85% behind his first serve, but whenever Ferrer had a chance to break (0-15, or 15-30, deuce) Mahut couldn't hit a first serve to save his life.

This is getting retarded. Is there an echo in here? Yes the surface is slower than last year but it's still a resonable fast HC. Mahut lost because he hit just 48% first serve in. You can't win with that stat against Ferrer no matter what the surface.

It is the same as I missed the exhibition on MP by Alex you described.

Mahut lost bc he played crap and as an absolute donkey on key points. Ferrer was pretty awful as well, he was very beatable today

Ferrer's season has been rock solid. He only failed to make the R16 twice all year.

Nico had the chance on set 2, when he was up 32 15-40 on David serve. After that, Ferrer stepped it up
